What we are looking for
We are seeking a motivated and capable Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our busy Immunology department. The successful candidate will possess:
- Appropriate qualifications in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is highly desirable
- An understanding of ethical conduct and commitment to Sonic Healthcare's core values
- Eligibility to work in Australia (please outline any VISA conditions if applicable)
Previous experience in an Immunology laboratory is highly regarded; however, this role is also suitable for recent or soon-to-be graduates in Medical Laboratory Science. The Immunology department is the Sonic reference centre for flow cytometry, protein studies, autoantibodies, and allergy testing.
