Together with creating and manufacturing our wonderful Cranky Health products, they are an innovation hub for the health and wellness industry, working with many external parties.

We recently invested in a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, known as the Cranky Health Innovation, Manufacturing and Distribution Center (IMDC). The IMDC has allowed us to increase our capacity and volume by seven times.

The IMDC has also seen the introduction of new machinery which has and will allow us to upskill or current and future employees in new technology and automation.

To keep up with this growth, we are seeking dependable, trustworthy and experienced Production and Packaging Operators to join our team. Each member of our Operations team plays a key role in producing high quality products to our beloved customers and consumers.

Shift allocation

The shift time is as follows:

  • Day shift – 5.30am to 1.36pm.

Please note that we ask that candidates have some shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime, where required.

You will be responsible for

  • Be able to operate manufacturing machinery, including machine set up, changeovers, trouble-shooting and manual packing.

  • Conduct general cleaning and allergen shut down cleaning and sanitisation.

  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards by following procedures.

  • Trouble shoot, resolve or escalate stoppages in the area to maintain safety, quality and production targets.

  • Contribute to safety, quality, and production targets by meeting and exceeding performance standards in both production and packaging areas.

  • Follow GMP and quality standards to maintain the flow of product through the production process as well as completing quality control documentation.

  • Continuous improvement mindset – strive to reduce ingredients and product waste.

  • Preparing batches by accurately weighing ingredients and recording their traceability.

  • Be flexible and relieve other positions when required.

On day one you'll have

  • Experience as a Machine, Production or Packaging Operator in a similar food manufacturing setting.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality production standards.

  • Computer literacy for operating and monitoring production systems.

  • Mechanical aptitude to assist with equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.

  • Positively contribute to our safety culture – identifying potential risks and hazards, work in a safe manner. Safety is out focus

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Strong English literacy, writing and numeracy skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in production procedures and best practice (lean manufacturing).

  • The ability to contribute as a member of the team and work autonomously.
