METROLL is a leading provider in quality steel building products. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Dispatch Operator to join our dynamic team at Richlands.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HC and HR Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate heavy combination vehicles (HC) for the transportation of goods.

  • Safely operate ridged vehicle (HR) for the transportation of goods.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo information.

  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.

  • Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and storage.

  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid HC/HR Driver's License.

  • Previous experience as an HC/HR Driver preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Forklift Ticket, but not essential.

  • Experience with a vehicle load crane not essential. We will provide training.
