The Role

We're seeking a seasoned Level 2/3 Technician ready to step into a leadership role and drive technical excellence across our client base. You'll be responsible for resolving complex issues, mentoring junior staff, and leading high-impact projects such as:

  • Microsoft 365 migrations
  • Server Installations and Upgrades
  • Network Deployments and Firewall Configurations
  • Cybersecurity Audits, Incident Response & Business Continuity Management
  • Microsoft 365 Management & Administration
  • Phone System Quoting & Installing
  • IT Policy and Process Development

You'll work both remotely and onsite, with flexibility for occasional work-from-home days. Occasional travel to remote sites will be required and compensated for accordingly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced IT support and troubleshooting (remote and onsite)
  • Lead deployments of desktops, laptops, networking gear, and phone systems
  • Configure and maintain Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms
  • Deploy and manage Cisco Meraki, Sophos, and Unifi infrastructure
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity events and backup alerts
  • Mentor Helpdesk staff and oversee process adherence
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
  • Contribute to internal documentation and IT policy development

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • 4+ years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or MSP environments
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proven experience with technologies such as Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, VMware, Datto, Sentinel One, SQL Server, Cisco Meraki, Sophos
  • Relevant Tertiary Education in Information Technology is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, Cert III/IV in IT
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and remotely on occasion.
