Overview

R6 Group is looking for a Senior Designer to join our in-house team at R6 Automate, the company behind award-winning software and automation products transforming the global self-storage industry.

This role is perfect for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced product environment, with a strong foundation in UI/UX design and the versatility to contribute to broader creative projects across marketing, brand, and trade events.

You'll collaborate closely with the Chief Design Officer, Product Managers, Product Marketing Manager, and Developers to design seamless digital experiences and maintain the visual quality of our products and brand.

As part of the R6 Group, you'll be backed by a full-service team offering design, marketing, and development capabilities, allowing you to bring ideas to life from concept through to delivery, all under one roof.

• You're a hands-on designer who can move confidently between digital product design and marketing design.
• You have a strategic eye for design, able to connect creative thinking with business and user needs.
• You're proactive, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable presenting work to internal teams and stakeholders.
• You're as comfortable designing complex interfaces as you are creating marketing collateral that makes an impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the UI and UX for R6 Automate's suite of digital products and apps.
• Build and evolve design systems to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, the Product Marketing Manager and Developers to bring new product features to life.
• Support marketing and brand efforts, including trade show materials, campaign graphics, and presentations.
• Ensure design output aligns with brand standards and communicates clearly across digital and physical touchpoints.
• Report directly to the Chief Design Officer and work cross-functionally with teams across the R6 Group.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an agency or in-house design role (preferably with exposure to digital products or SaaS).
• Advanced skills in Figma, with strong understanding of components, auto-layout, variables, and design systems.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Motion design or 3D experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, wireframing, and user flow design.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and see them through from concept to delivery.
• Excellent attention to detail, layout, and typography skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, confident explaining design rationale.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with developers, marketers, and leadership.
• Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility, and usability best practices.
• Experience creating or maintaining brand systems and applying them across multiple platforms.
