Join JHA as a Senior Civil Designer and lead transformative projects with a team that values innovation, collaboration, and immediate impact.

About the role:

At JHA we pride ourselves on not only providing a core offering of the regular building services disciplines, but also a full spectrum of dedicated specialists in more niche disciplines.

We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Designer who can start immediately. You will have Local Australian experience working with Building Services engineering consultants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake engineering design and documentation of civil protection projects
  • Provide support in designing civil services
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, team members across multiple disciplines.
  • Undertake internal and external training
  • Attend client meetings/site inspections.

Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience in Civil design and drafting (preferably experienced in 12d and AutoCAD)

  • Experience in the following areas;

  • Bulk Earthworks & site grading

  • Erosion and Sediment Control
  • Road Geometry (horizontal and vertical)
  • Stormwater Drainage (pit & pipe design)
  • Sewer & Water (pit and pipe design)

  • Vehicle swept paths

  • Experience working on Australian based project (QLD preferred)

  • Leadership attributes with a desire to lead and grow a local team
