About the role

As a Project Manager at Fornido', you will be responsible for managing multiple construction projects from start to finish. This is a full-time position based in South Melbourne, Victoria. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality fit-out projects for our diverse range of clients within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and managing project plans, budgets and schedules to deliver projects on time and within budget
  2. Coordinating and leading cross-functional teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution
  3. Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues, and implementing effective solutions
  4. Maintaining clear and frequent communication with clients, stakeholders and team members
  5. Ensuring projects adhere to all relevant safety, quality and compliance standards
  6. Providing regular progress updates and reporting to the leadership team
  7. Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and enhance project delivery

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
  2. Demonstrated expertise in managing residential and childcare centres.
  3. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  4. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and relevant regulations
  5. Proficiency in using project management software and tools
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional project teams
  7. Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field
