About the role

As a Finance Manager at Central West Credit Union, you will drive the financial performance success and strategic growth. Use your experience in financial reporting, compliance, business process, audit and regulatory reporting.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare accurate and timely regulatory, financial, management, budget variance analysis, and KPI reporting
  • Cash flow monitoring, forecasting and ensure compliance with credit policies
  • Support annual financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and tax compliance (including BAS, FBT, and income tax returns)
  • Preparation and responsibility for annual budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Monitor compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, Investment brokers and banking partners
  • Responsibility for preparation and management of end-to-end payroll
  • Performing other financial and administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Accounting or significantly progressed in obtaining qualification
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
