New England Support Services (NESS) is expanding and we're looking for new team members to provide community-based disability support in Tamworth and surrounding areas.

We're a growing, locally owned provider servicing the New England region. Our team is made up of motivated, down-to-earth people who love making a real difference in the lives of the people we support.


About the Role

This casual position is both rewarding and varied. You'll be working one-on-one with NDIS participants in the community, helping them build independence, develop life skills, and get involved in activities that matter to them.

No two days are the same – one day you might be:

  • Helping someone practice their cooking or budgeting,
  • Assisting with shopping, appointments, or life admin,
  • Playing video games, going for a ride, or catching a movie,
  • Or simply enjoying a walk and a chat in the sunshine.

You'll be supporting clients to live their best lives – safely, confidently, and on their terms.

We're looking for people who are:

  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Easy to get along with and genuinely person-centred
  • Able to work independently and use common sense
  • Comfortable with a bit of spontaneity – our clients live varied lives

Shifts vary across weekdays and weekends. We value work-life balance – so while weekend availability is a bonus, it's not essential.


Essential Requirements

Please only apply if you have all of the following:

  • A current, unrestricted Driver's Licence
  • A reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • A clear and recent Criminal History Check
  • Recent work references

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or similar
  • Experience working with people with disability
  • Training in manual handling or medication assistance
