Museum Operations & Visitor Engagement Coordinator
Location: Tamworth NSW
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Oversee daily operations of the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame and Tamworth Powerhouse Museum, including front of house management
- Provide support for the volunteer run public museums throughout the LGA
- Lead educational & administrative tasks, with a focus on planning, research and development
- Drive visitor engagement by creating opportunities for audience growth and promoting public programs effectively

Success in this role requires a passion for cultural and community engagement, along with proven experience in a museum or gallery setting.
The Museum Operations and Visitor Engagement Coordinator is responsible for:
- Supervision of staff and volunteers relevant to the role
- Meeting the needs of museum audiences and visitor engagement
- The care, maintenance and promotion of museum collections
- Ensuring a safe workplace and public environments
- Heading up projects and management processes
- Oversight of popular tourist attractions during the Country Music Festival
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor of History, Arts, Cultural Studies, Education or tertiary qualification relevant to the role
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (desirable)
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)

Salary range: Grade 15 - $1, ,843.50 per week plus 12% superannuation, for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
