SCL Automotive Group is a South Australian, family owned and operated dealer group based in Reynella, 20kms south of the Adelaide CBD. Employing over 100 people, our group comprises of Reynella Mazda, Southern Volkswagen, Southgate Used Cars, Southgate GWM Haval, Southgate LDV and EV Moto SA.  We currently deliver over 200 vehicles a month with an annual turnover more than $100 million per annum.

Are you currently a Salesperson (Automotive or not) looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a Business Manager to join our team. The individual will be an energetic person with an ability to build strong relationships with our customers, based on trust and confidence. You will be trained to be responsible for presenting the various finance and insurance products, with excellent communication skills, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction, be a result-oriented sales professional.  You will be part of a passionate and organised Sales Team providing the business with the structure required for great results. Key responsibilities after training will include:

  • Offer finance and a full range of insurance products to all eligible customers.
  • Ensure that all eligible products are explained in a documented, structured and disciplined way so that customers can make informed decisions.
  • Prepare and submit finance applications.
  • Forge strong relationships with sales team, in order to ensure finance is considered by all customers.
  • Comply with finance and insurance legislation, regulations and industry codes.
  • To assist the Sales team with closing sales with finance opportunities

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong customer service focus
  • Previous Sales experience would be highly regarded in Automotive however not essential.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with a focus on time management
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise in line with processes and structures in place
  • Friendly and self-motivated
  • A team player
