You're not just fixing systems—you're mentoring others, improving processes, and ensuring hospitals and healthcare facilities run smoothly with reliable Nurse Call and Patient Engagement Systems (PES).

As a Senior Field Service Technician, you'll deliver advanced onsite support, lead asset audits, and ensure accurate configuration data across critical healthcare environments. You'll be the escalation point for complex issues, support continuity testing, and play a key role in mentoring junior technicians. You'll also champion service improvements and uphold compliance with SLAs, OH&S, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities


• Perform advanced installations, break-fix, and integration of Nurse Call and PES systems


• Lead onsite troubleshooting and complex service escalations


• Conduct asset audits and ensure CMDB and asset registers are accurate


• Capture and document configuration data onsite


• Mentor Field Service Technicians and build team capability


• Report OH&S incidents, site risks, and continuity gaps


• Provide compliance evidence for OH&S, SLA/MSA, and operational audits


• Champion continuous improvement across field service delivery


• Support continuity testing and project handovers

• Incident & Problem Management – Resolve complex issues and flag systemic risks


• Configuration & Asset Management – Maintain accurate onsite data


• Safety & Compliance – Ensure OH&S standards and audit readiness


• Mentoring & Leadership – Guide and support junior technicians


• Customer Communication – Build trust through professionalism and reliability

Qualifications and Certifications


• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/IT trades or equivalent experience


• Electrical License and/or Cabling License (mandatory)


• OH&S Induction Card and Working with Children Check (mandatory)


• ITIL Foundation certification (desirable)
