Your First Year – Fast Track Your Career

Months 1–2:

  • Structured induction and onboarding with your supervisor and team
  • Engage with your mentor suitable to your experience
  • Observe sessions across settings
  • Encouragement to tailor the role to align with your skillset
  • Start CPD planning & goal setting
  • Begin working directly with clients

Months 3–6:

  • Manage a caseload (with supervision for grads)
  • Weekly coaching & clinical reflection
  • Supported outreach travel
  • Access CPD allowance for early upskilling

Months 7–12:

  • Grow caseload independence
  • Participate in team case conferences
  • Attend regional in-service events
  • Prepare for your first annual development review
