Airline Marketing Australia, an airline General Sales Agent, has an exciting opportunity available for a full time Business Development Executive to join our Melbourne team, representing leading airline brands.

This role will involve:

  • representing multiple airlines and understanding their full product range
  • providing product updates to the travel trade
  • maintaining a sales plan and delivering measurable results
  • build strong, long-term relationships whilst generating and converting new leads
  • create and conduct presentations & provide quality training for the various airlines
  • attend external functions when required (including after hours)
  • attend trade shows, expos and seminars
  • some interstate/international travel

The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and proactive in growing the business of the represented airlines. Ideally, the candidate we are seeking will have:

  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Willingness to learn multiple products and represent them
  • Solid understanding of airlines, the Australian travel industry and retail agencies
  • Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to convert business opportunities
  • High attention to detail, with a "can do" attitude
  • Superior multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Familiar with using a CRM and the importance of quality reporting
  • Valid driver's licence and car (essential for this role)
