We are currently seeking a
Senior Scheduling Engineer
to join our Underground Mining team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent.
A key position that supports the wider Mine Technical Services along with the Underground Operations team. This function includes overseeing at team of Scheduling Engineers.

A site based role on an
8/5 and 4/4 FIFO roster
, where we operate direct flights to our site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.

Accountabilities

• Oversee the delivery of underground mining schedules across planning and operational horizons to achieve the business plan
• Be adept with budgeting processes to ensure production targets are met while maintaining operational safety and efficiency.
• Lead medium-term planning alignment with both short-term planning and Life Of Mine (LOM) planning
• Lead planning of underground infrastructure and relevant projects
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical and professional development
• Enjoy upholding and working to our 6 core values at all times

About You

• Solid communication and written skills.
• Competence in Deswik CAD and Scheduler is essential
• Confidence to provide input and provoke discussion.
• Enthusiastic attitude towards fulfilling key accountabilities.
• Willingness to work in an underground mine.
• C Class Driver's License.
• Full permanent working rights.

Qualifications Requirements

• Bachelor of Mining Engineering Degree.
