  • We are seeking an experienced and passionate Japanese Chef to join our team at Emmario Pty Ltd in Nowra, NSW. This full-time role offers the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity in authentic Japanese cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a range of Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, and other traditional specialties.
  • Plan menus and develop new recipes that highlight authentic flavours and innovation.
  • Maintain consistency, presentation, and high-quality standards across all dishes.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure skill development and teamwork.
  • Manage kitchen operations, stock control, and food safety compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert III & IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Hospitality Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Japanese Chef.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
