Role Description:

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements, assess business workflows, and help design and implement solutions that optimize performance, efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at translating complex information into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, preparing process documentation, and supporting the development and implementation of business strategies, systems, or digital transformation projects. You will evaluate existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose enhancements that improve productivity and customer experience. The Business Analyst also assists in developing business cases, performing cost-benefit analyses, and defining KPIs to measure project success.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders—including management, IT teams, and end users—to ensure that solutions meet organizational objectives and align with industry standards. The role also involves supporting system testing, data analysis, and user training to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new initiatives. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts by leveraging business intelligence tools and analytical frameworks to inform strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA) is an advantage.
  • 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or project support within a corporate or technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, project lifecycles, and requirements-gathering methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL).
  • Experience with documentation techniques such as business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management frameworks.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
  • Attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to contribute to process improvement and strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels to deliver value-driven solutions.
