As a Surgical Ward Nurse, you'll meet patient care needs with a smile. We are looking for registered and enrolled nurses aspiring to further their career, who really care for their patients and who love working in a friendly, supportive team.

We are looking to offer Permanent full time or part time contracts to the right candidates with competitive remuneration.

Key accountabilities:

  • A genuine passion to provide excellent care for both patients and their loved ones
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Effective assessment of patients, by analysing data and identifying their needs
  • Ability to develop a holistic nursing care plan to meet individual patient needs
  • Medication administration
  • Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills. You're happy to seek guidance when you need it.

Other Requirements:


• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Division 1 (AHPRA)


• Minimum of 1 years' experience


• Valid Working with Children Check


• National Police Check


• 100-point ID check


• Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)


• Proof of vaccinations
