Central Staffing Casual Pool offers the flexibility and opportunity to move into many different areas within the nursing profession whilst achieving work/life balance.
As an Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery, you'll support Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives in delivering person-centred care and undertake basic nursing duties such as assisting with daily living activities, setting up for procedures, cleaning equipment, and managing stock. This is a rewarding opportunity to gain experience across multiple units and sites while contributing to safe, high-quality care for our patients and residents.

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) encompasses 40% of the population of country South Australia, including the Barossa, Gawler district, Adelaide Hills, Southern Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island.
The region is an area of significant population growth for South Australia. Our sites and services are located at Mt Barker, Gawler, Victor Harbor (Southern Fleurieu), Strathalbyn, Kingscote (Kangaroo Island), Mt Pleasant, Angaston, Tanunda, Gumeracha, Eudunda and Kapunda. The LHN has 11 public hospitals, 6 aged care facilities, 5 birthing sites, and an extensive range of community-based services.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Assist nurses and midwives with routine care tasks and activities of daily living.
- Provide technical support functions such as equipment cleaning, stock management, and procedure setup.
- Help maintain a safe, supportive, and culturally appropriate environment for patients, residents, and staff.
- Actively participate in quality improvement activities by following established guidelines and reporting relevant data.
