We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative Junior Graphic Designer to support our design team in our busiest and exciting time of the year – the MSWA Mega Home Lottery Campaign

If you are someone who is bursting with ideas, loves a fast-paced environment and is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into a full-time, 12-week contract then this is the job for you

In this hands-on role you will:

• Support the Senior Designer in creating visually appealing and impactful design assets for various promotional campaign materials.
• Design organic and paid social posts.
• Ensure any in-house content produced aligns with the brand narrative and any external advertising.
• Design and development of other print, presentation and event collateral as required.
• Create high quality and visually compelling digital content from creative concept to technical execution and output across multiple digital channels including websites, eDMs, social media and display banners.
• Collaborate with other internal and external agencies, developers, UX Designers and digital media producers as required.
• Ensure that all design assets are created to deadline, including managing competing priorities and identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
• Assist with the creation and management of marketing content from a design perspective (website, blog, articles, eDM, video).
• Assist with the content catalogue of stories, images and videos ensuring most effective use.
• Assist in the production of MSWA publications.
• Ensure all activities of the marketing channel comply with relevant marketing and ethical standards, acts and legal demands, e.g. SPAM Act, Privacy Act, ACCC.

This is a full-time, 12-week contract based in our Belmont Office. This role may require availability to work after standard office hours from time to time.
What you'll bring

• Tertiary qualification in graphic design or demonstrated relevant experience.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including simple video editing and animation.
• Demonstrable experience on adapting existing Brand Design Guidelines across a range of marketing assets.
• Demonstrable experience with organisation and time management skills, including managing multiple projects at the same time.
• Able to work both autonomously and within a team, in a positive and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Nice to have experience includes:

• Experience in an agency/design studio environment, or in a fast-paced in-house role for an organisation.
• Experience working on retail marketing campaigns that require a large number of assets adapting a single brand platform/concept.
• Experience in the fundraising or Not for Profit (NFP) sector.
