Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking to employ an Environmental Services Manager to join our established team on a full-time basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction.

As a Housekeeping & Environmental Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be responsible for the management of the Environmental Services staff and undertake the cleaning across the facility
  • Communicate and deal with contractors for managing waste and cleaning
  • Undertake cleaner orders
  • Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.
  • Provide high standard of cleaning services
  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients, clients and staff

Essential Criteria:

  • Flexibility to work across different hours as required
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or manager in a hospital, hotel services, or shopping centre
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of managing a 24/7 roster using electric time and attendance systems (eg Kronos)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skills and motivation to ensure excellence in customer service
  • The ability to complete tasks within a measurable timeframe
  • The ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workload
  • Certification 3 or 4 in cleaning operations is desirable
