Job Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and sustainable delivery of major and minor capital works projects.

About the Role

We are seeking a technically skilled Health, Safety & Environment professional to join our team as Manager – Health, Safety & Environment (Projects & Environmental).

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, WHS, or a related discipline
  • Desirable: Lead Auditor (ISO 14001/45001) and/or Cert IV in Training & Assessment
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation
  • Proven technical capability in areas such as PFAS contamination, soil classification, water quality, and waste tracking

The successful candidate will have experience managing high-risk construction activities, familiarity with airport environments, and strong skills in reading and acting on technical environmental and safety reports.

They will also have experience working on both large infrastructure programs and smaller, fast-moving projects, confidence in managing regulatory engagement and contractor compliance, and exceptional communication skills.
