Job Description Summary

Join Cushman & Wakefield as a Facilities Coordinator supporting one of Australia's leading energy clients. This is a dynamic, client-facing role based onsite at 200 George Street Sydney, where you'll play a key part in keeping operations seamless, safe, and efficient.

About the role

As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll provide hands-on support across day-to-day site operations, vendor management, maintenance coordination, finance tracking, and reporting. You'll be embedded onsite, working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager to ensure the site is operating to the highest standards and aligned with both Cushman & Wakefield and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the facility, including cleaning, maintenance, life-safety, and engineering services.
  • Coordinate and close out work orders (PPM/reactive) and assist with procurement, quotes, and vendor management.
  • Maintain site documentation and reports – including SOPs, risk registers, inspection reports, and financial tracking.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the wider Facilities Management team.

About you

  • 1-3 years' experience in facilities coordination, building management, or a related FM support role.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Proven background in commercial property operations and familiarity with work order systems (CMMS).

  • Sound knowledge of BMS, vendor coordination, and maintenance processes.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
