At The Berry General Store, we're more than just your local café. We're a buzzing community hub serving up White Horse Coffee, stacked sambos, all-day brekky, easy dinners, and a solid line-up of retail goods and local drinks. We keep it fun, fast-paced, and flavour-forward.

About the Role We're looking for a Cook/Chef to join our kitchen crew. This isn't your average back-of-house gig—you'll be part of a small, tight team that cares about good food, fresh produce, and delivering consistent plates that keep people coming back.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Preparing and cooking dishes for breakfast, lunch, and occasional dinners.
  • Staying organised and efficient during busy service periods.
  • Helping with prep to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Working as part of a team where everyone pulls their weight.

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous cooking experience in a café or restaurant kitchen.
  • A love of simple, tasty food done well.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep service flowing.
  • Flexibility with shifts, including weekends.
  • Reliability, good communication, and a strong work ethic.
