We’re all about approachable dining that’s big on flavour and community spirit — from our all-day breakfast and fresh sandwiches to vibrant dinner plates and local wines.The Opportunity:We’re on the lookout for a talented Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes, bring creativity to the menu, and ensure consistency and care in every service.Your Responsibilities:Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard in your section.Support the Head Chef in menu development and seasonal updates.Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices.Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and waste minimisation.Work collaboratively with the team to keep service smooth during busy periods.What You’ll Bring:Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).Excellent knife skills and sound technical cooking knowledge.Strong communication and time management skills.Calm, positive energy under pressure and a genuine love for good food.Availability for weekend and public holiday shifts.Why Join The Berry General Store:We’re a close-knit team that values creativity, collaboration, and consistency.
