We keep it fun, fast-paced, and flavour-forward.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Cook/Chef to join our kitchen crew. This isn’t your average back-of-house gig—you’ll be part of a small, tight team that cares about good food, fresh produce, and delivering consistent plates that keep people coming back.What You’ll Be Doing:Preparing and cooking dishes for breakfast, lunch, and occasional dinners.Staying organised and efficient during busy service periods.Helping with prep to keep the kitchen running smoothly.Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.Working as part of a team where everyone pulls their weight.What We’re Looking For:Previous cooking experience in a café or restaurant kitchen.A love of simple, tasty food done well.Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep service flowing.Flexibility with shifts, including weekends.Reliability, good communication, and a strong work ethic.Why Join Us?At The Berry General Store, we’re a small, passionate crew who value good food, good coffee, and good people.
