About the Role

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering tax compliance and strategic advisory services across a range of entities including trusts, companies, SMSFs, and partnerships. You'll work closely with clients, helping them grow their businesses while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
  • Manage FBT, BAS, and IAS compliance
  • Deliver strategic tax advice and planning
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Research and resolve complex tax issues
  • Identify opportunities for clients and the firm
  • Support the implementation of new technologies
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar public practice role
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business
  • Proficient in MYOB, Xero, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Sage HandiSoft and Class Super (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
  • Passion for helping clients and simplifying complex tax matters
