Civil Earthworks Estimator

A highly regarded Western Australian civil and mining contractor is on the rise—and looking for a talented Civil Earthworks Estimator to join its growing Perth team, based north of the river. What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare detailed, first‑principles estimates for large‑scale civil and mining infrastructure projects—earthworks, haul roads, TSFs, drainage, and bulk earthmoving.
  • Review project documentation, drawings, and geotechnical data to perform precise quantity take‑offs and develop practical, cost‑effective methodologies.
  • Engage and collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing and establish a reliable cost base.
  • Analyse project risks, opportunities, and delivery strategies to ensure each tender is accurate, competitive, and achievable.
  • Work closely with project and business development teams to produce winning tender submissions that reflect technical capability and company values.
  • Prepare all tender documentation to a professional, compliant standard.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within the civil or mining infrastructure sectors in Western Australia.
  • Solid technical understanding of bulk earthworks, drainage, road construction, and remote project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills—balancing precision with strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, underpinned by integrity and teamwork.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to work autonomously when needed.
