We are seeking experienced Support workers to support our clients from Miriam Vale to Agnes Waters

About the Role:

As a Support Worker at GCLA, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve their health, wellbeing, and lifestyle goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with personal care needs
  • Supporting with meal preparation
  • Assisting with domestic cleaning
  • Enabling individuals to access and engage with their local community
  • Supporting individuals to live independently in supported accommodation

Your Availability:

We value flexibility We're currently seeking Support Workers with availability across various days of the week and at different times throughout the day. We have specific openings for evening, sleepover, active night and early morning shifts. Our sleepover support ensures someone is readily available should any needs arise during the night.

Our team of approximately 160 staff members, both casual and full-time, are committed to delivering exceptional care to up to 200 clients in the disability and aged-care sectors. GCLA also proudly acknowledges and respects the Traditional Custodians of the land we work on.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability
  • Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
  • Working with Adults with Disability Card (Yellow Card) or NDIS Workers Screening Card/Check
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
