Southern Cross has been supporting people in their communities throughout NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and ACT since 1984. We arrange the provision of an extensive range of aged support and disability services for people in their own home and community.

Southern Cross is seeking motivated, caring, and committed people to provide support to assist people living in their own homes to enable independence.

Team members receive support to achieve the skills required to deliver individualised disability support services – a great opportunity to improve and enhance your skills or transition from a different industry.

Support Work is an important and rapidly expanding industry with high levels of satisfaction and security.

What Support is being provided :

  • Assistance with personal care tasks including showering, toileting, grooming and dressing.
  • Medication administration
  • Assistance with therapy tasks
  • Use of mobility equipment
  • Domestic assistance
  • Meal preparation and Community participationn

Shift Times

There are a variety of short (2-3 hour) shifts available. Please indicate your availability in your application.

Requirements

  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle - essential
  • NDIS Worker's Clearance or willing to obtain
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Working with Childrens Check or willing to obtain
