My client is an IT/Engineering company that provide software, cybersecurity and telecommunications services to government and enterprise customers. Due to organic growth, they are now seeking to appoint an IT Manager to take ownership of their internal infrastructure. This role would suit either an experienced IT Manager with proven leadership capability and strong technical skills or a Senior Infrastructure Engineer ready to step up into their first people-leadership position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee the internal infrastructure environment including wireless, networks, servers and on-premises systems.
  • Manage and maintain IT operations.
  • Work closely with internal IT support staff and project resources to ensure smooth operations and delivery.
  • Be the go-to person for infrastructure expertise while supporting future growth and technology initiatives.
  • You will be dedicated to owning and managing infrastructure, ensuring the environment is reliable, secure and future-ready.

About you:

  • Strong background in infrastructure management - networks, servers and on-premises systems.
  • Hands-on experience with wireless technologies, routing and networking.
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites with a mix of operational and project responsibilities.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.
