As we expand, we're seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager who can lead strategy, drive demand, and position our brand as a trusted leader in the energy efficiency sector.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and creative Marketing Manager with proven experience in the VEU program or similar government energy incentive schemes. The ideal candidate will understand the energy efficiency market, particularly technologies like hot water systems, lighting upgrades, HVAC systems, solar panels, and battery storage, and will have a strong background in B2C and B2B marketing.

You will be responsible for building and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive lead generation, brand visibility, and customer engagement — while ensuring compliance with the VEU program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals and VEU scheme objectives.
• Create targeted campaigns for VEU-approved products: hot water systems, lighting, air conditioning, solar PV, and batteries.
• Lead generation across multiple channels: digital (SEO, SEM, social), traditional (flyers, print), events, and partnerships.
• Build compelling marketing assets (web content, brochures, videos, case studies) that clearly communicate product benefits and VEU rebates.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and compliance teams to ensure consistent messaging and adherence to VEU guidelines.
• Manage marketing budgets, track KPIs, and report on campaign performance with actionable insights.
• Stay informed of VEU scheme updates, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning.
• Represent the company at industry expos, community events, and government briefings when required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within the energy efficiency, renewables, or sustainability sector.
• Solid understanding of the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) scheme, including eligible activities, compliance, and incentives.
• Demonstrated success marketing energy-efficient technologies such as hot water systems, LED lighting, HVAC, solar panels, or batteries.
• Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, CRM systems).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex, technical information.
• Data-driven mindset with experience in performance marketing, ROI tracking, and funnel optimization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Certifications in Digital Marketing, Google Ads, or Marketing Automation are advantageous.
• Knowledge of Australian energy policy, environmental sustainability, or government programs is a strong plus.
