Are you an occupational therapist or Speech Therapist who loves play-based therapy, thinking outside the box, and making a real difference in children's lives? Creative Therapy Village is looking for passionate, neuro-affirming and creative occupational therapists and speech pathologist to join our team. This subcontractor role offers flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive, fun environment where creativity is encouraged. Whether you're a senior practitioner or just starting out, or would like to work full time or part time hours we'd love to hear from you.

At Creative Therapy Village, we believe that therapy should be engaging, imaginative, and tailored to each child's unique strengths. We take a neuro-affirmative and child-led approach, ensuring every child feels seen, supported, and empowered. We currently provide OT, Play therapy , Art Therapy, Counselling and parent support. Our clinic is warm and welcoming, with 6 fully stocked therapy spaces including a brand new sensory gym. We value collaboration, shared learning, and celebrating small wins—both for the beautiful children and families we work within our community and for our multidiciplinary team. We encourage a balanced work life with time in our day for admin, peer supervision and learning.
About the role
- Deliver engaging, neuro-affirming creative occupational or speech therapy to children with diverse needs
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that values professionalism, creativity and fresh ideas
- Enjoy the freedom to manage your schedule to suit your lifestyle while still feeling part of a connected, supportive team.
- Access a fully stocked 6 room therapy space with all the tools and resources you need to bring your ideas to life and a wonderful reception/admin team and a parent and family chill room. This practice is not like the others
About you
- A qualified masters level therapist with a passion for working with children
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with AHPRA or equivalent registration bodies.
- Experience -ideally 2+ years of experience, although we can consider less for the right candidate
- Capacity and efficiency to work independently, as a subcontractor and complete relevant assessments, reports, and recommendation letters and maintain excellent report writing.
- Great communication skills and a creative, flexible mindset
- Committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ideally will have own driving licence /transport as there is some outreach at times to schools/kinders included in your caseload.
