The Community Energy Delivery team is currently looking for a Senior Project Officer who has an interest in shaping a cleaner, smarter energy future for the NSW community. You will be involved in the delivery of high-impact programs supporting energy transformation for consumers, while upholding governance standards to maximise optimal value for public investment.

About The Role

In this dynamic role, you will lead the delivery and promotion of programs that align with government priorities, while ensuring effective governance and resource allocation.

You'll manage a diverse portfolio of projects, overseeing delivery to achieve outcomes on time and within budget, while maintaining high quality standards. Your expertise in monitoring and evaluation will drive evidence-based improvements, and you'll build strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation. You will also provide strategic advice on emerging issues, guiding the successful execution of programs in line within their established goals and priorities.

About You

You will be an experienced Senior Project Officer who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ideally you will have a background from Government or Energy, with a proven track record in achieving program objectives while managing a range of priorities.

You will excel in building effective stakeholder relationships to support collaboration, problem solving and identifying process improvements.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in engaging stakeholders to drive action and achieve results, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
