ABOUT THE ROLE

Ronald McDonald House Tamworth is looking to employ a family focused, caring and dedicated individual to join our team in the position of Program Support.

Working 32 hours per fortnight, the successful candidate will work alongside our House team and volunteers to help provide outstanding service and care to the families we serve.

The main responsibility of this role will be to provide administration support to the House Manager and Assistant House Manager. The ideal applicant should be diverse in their ability to work flexibly within a small team and will at times be expected to complete House Keeping duties.

To be successful in this position you will need to:

  • Be Family Focused

  • Possess excellent time management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritise varied work loads

  • Display a high level of customer service with the ability to communicate effectively with people in differing circumstances

  • Ability to complete front of house and administration duties within role

  • Ability to complete regular rostered weekend work, be flexible and responsive for occasional additional hours

  • Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role

  • Behave with personal integrity and abide by ethical standards of honesty, loyalty and commitment in regards to self and the charity

  • Understand and comply with child protection policies and practices

  • Understand and comply with the safety culture and systems of Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW

  • Be committed to the mission, vision and values of Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia

Essential requirements to address in your application:

  • Previous experience working within an administrative role

  • A high level of computer literacy skills, with intermediate to advanced experience in all Microsoft programs

  • Exemplary written communication, record keeping, organisation and time management skills

  • Flexibility to work a 7-day roster with some additional hours of work if required
