About the Role:Join a dynamic operations team in this permanent position based in Tamworth. This position is full-time or part-time across 5 days for the right candidate. 

The Team Leader Program Support oversees the call centre's daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient processes. Leading and supporting Program Support Officers, this role combines team supervision with a hands-on approach—managing calls, resolving complex enquiries, and coordinating outreach caseload management. The position ensures service quality, compliance, and contributes to BEST's vision through effective leadership and operational excellence

To be successful in this role you will excel at driving performance in the 4 key areas outlined below:

  4. Outreach Caseload Management.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams to meet or exceed targets.

• Strong time management, organisation, and multitasking skills under pressure.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on data.

• Demonstrated business acumen and commercial awareness.

• Resilient and solution-focused, with a positive attitude in challenging situations.

• Knowledge of contractual frameworks, privacy principles, and accurate record-keeping, or willingness

to develop in these areas.

• Commitment to fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace culture.

• High attention to detail, with strong digital literacy and administrative skills.

• Flexible and adaptable in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications, Licences and Checks:

• Relevant qualifications in Employment Services and/or Community Services desired, but not essential.

• Current Driver's License (Class C or above).

• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
