Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Toast Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Our mission is to empower the global restaurant community to delight their guests, do what they love, and thrive.

To help achieve this mission, Toast is expanding into new countries and markets in Asia Pacific and are currently seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager  to serve as a core member of our Sydney office and ANZ Organisation.

As a first Product Marketing hire in this location,  this is an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up where you will be an early member of our regional team that is transforming the way restaurants operate locally.

As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager for ANZ, you will be dedicated to scaling Toast's ANZ footprint from the ground up. This role will give you the opportunity to work in a startup-like environment with the backing of an established, publicly traded company. As such, you are a builder with an entrepreneurial mindset who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves to manage a wide range of responsibilities, prioritise ruthlessly to maximise impact, and continuously test and learn to refine your strategies.

Reporting to the Snr. Director of International Product Marketing, you will partner closely with the Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive  go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including defining, building, and scaling our regional product launch and enablement process.

You will collaborate on key initiatives relating to buyer personas, product positioning and messaging, and qualitative and quantitative insights from customer and market research to inform our longer term roadmap and GTM strategies of our products. The ideal candidate enjoys playing a significant role in setting company strategy, has a proven track record of launching new products and features, has strong analytical skills, and excels in a growth environment. If you're a curious and collaborative team player who isn't afraid to lead from the front with a bias for action, read on

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy and launch process for new products and features in ANZ
  • Become a product and market expert on our ANZ product offerings and use that knowledge to craft compelling value based messaging to generate leads and drive conversions.
  • Tailor global messaging to align with local customer needs, culture, and language while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by gathering market insights and competitive intel to inform strategy and execution.
  • Equip Sales with localised collateral, battlecards, and tools to support conversion and improve outbound effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing to drive awareness, ABM plays, and trust-building programs that move key segments.
  • Act as a bridge between regional GTM teams and HQ stakeholders to ensure aligned goals and executional support.
  • Create scalable processes, tools, and documentation to support future hires and regional growth.
  • Model an entrepreneurial spirit by building with urgency, leaning into ambiguity, and contributing to regional team culture.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment that can span product marketing, operational roles, finance, sales or strategy consulting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading cross-functional partnerships with diverse teams to develop strategic plans and achieve desired goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to combine complex content into a clear and cohesive story to gain both internal and external buy-in.
  • Data-minded with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Lead from the front; ability to map your own objectives, work through obstacles without the need for escalation, drive agreement and then execute.
  • Passionate about developing a deep understanding of customer needs to inform product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met.

Special Sauce* (non essential skills/nice to haves)

  • Experience with product, marketing, or strategy in the restaurant technology industry.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, Technology, Professional Services, or other ancillary industries.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Sigma, and/or SQL.

*Bread puns encouraged but not required
