The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time role that requires strong technical cooking ability, creativity, and the capacity to work effectively in a high-volume environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Head Chef and management team to deliver consistently high-quality meals that reflect our brand and standards.

Salary Range

$76,000-$80,000 per annum (exclusive of Superannuation)

Key Responsibilities

●Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes including grills, pizzas, burgers, share plates, and seasonal

specials.

●Oversee sections of the kitchen including grill, fryers, and pass, ensuring smooth service during peak times.

●Maintain high standards of food hygiene, presentation, and portion control.

●Contribute to menu development and implementation of seasonal specials.

●Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, rotation, and stocktakes.

●Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing training and support where required.

●Ensure the kitchen is maintained in line with OH&S and food safety standards.

Skills & Experience

●Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).

●At least 2–3 years of proven chef experience in a busy kitchen environment.

●Strong grilling, frying, and pizza preparation skills.

●Experience managing kitchen operations including stock control and staff supervision.

●Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

●Good communication and teamwork skills.
