Join Our Team – Medical Receptionist (Full-Time) – Mermaid Beach, QLD

MBR Health is looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our state-of-the-art imaging centre in Mermaid Beach, Queensland.

We're seeking someone with personality plus, who can deliver exceptional customer service and provide efficient administrative support in a fast-paced, professional environment.

At MBR Health, our patients come from all over Australia and the world, and we offer some of the most advanced diagnostic imaging in the country. As the first point of contact, you'll help set the tone for an outstanding patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism, creating a great first impression
  • Managing appointments efficiently to keep the clinic running smoothly
  • Answering patient enquiries and providing clear information about our services
  • Handling patient registration and ensuring all documentation is accurate
  • Maintaining up-to-date records and filing systems
  • Assisting with billing and insurance claims as required
  • Supporting the team with administrative and marketing tasks to help the clinic shine
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a medical reception or customer service role, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional ability to interact with patients and healthcare professionals in a friendly, professional, and clear manner
  • Comfortable thinking on your feet in a fast-paced, complex clinic environment, able to learn quickly and relay information accurately to patients
  • Familiarity with medical software, electronic health records, and standard office applications
  • Some understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry regulations
  • Empathetic, approachable, and committed to providing a positive patient experience
