We're seeking a creative and passionate Visual Arts Teacher to inspire young minds and bring colour to the curriculum.

Moreton Bay Boys' College (MBBC) is seeking a passionate and innovative Visual Arts Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. This is a unique opportunity to teach across a range of year levels (7–12) in a supportive, values-driven environment that celebrates creativity, curiosity, and holistic education.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Visual Arts lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression across year levels.
  • Inspire students to explore a wide range of media, techniques, and artistic styles, while developing their own unique voice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Visual Arts into cross-curricular learning experiences.
  • Actively contribute to the College's co-curricular program, including exhibitions, art clubs, and community events.
  • Support the wellbeing and development of students through pastoral care and form teacher responsibilities.
  • Participate in College events, chapel services, assemblies, and professional development activities.

What You'll Bring:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • A deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA Visual Arts syllabus.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student-centred learning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • A commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the College.
