Your new role

As a Litigation Lawyer you will handle complex litigation cases in various jurisdictions across Australia, providing expert legal advice and representation to our diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting various legal court documents.
  • Representing clients in pre-trial reviews, pre-hearing conferences, settlement conferences, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
  • Liasing and negotiating with insurers and third-party lawyers.
  • Conducting detailed legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of legislation and legal precedents relevant to motor vehicle litigation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 1-2 years PQE experience in civil litigation
  • Unrestricted practising certificate preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume portfolio.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work with deadlines and targets.
  • An understanding of loss of use and credit hire law preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards and professionalism.
