About Your Role:

We are offering employment to people passionate about supporting people with disability. The successful applicants will be professional, flexible, and willing to travel within their respective areas. Kangaroo Care currently has vacancies based out of Brisbane and surrounds. Proficiency in English is required. Applicants from countries where English is the primary or official language are preferred.

LOCATION: CARINDALE

Preference : Female- Age preference : 25 to 30

  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Assisting with tasks like dressing, bathing and eating.
  • Daily Living Skills: Supporting clients in developing and maintaining skills related to budgeting, shopping, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Emotional Support: Providing a listening ear and offering emotional support to clients.
  • Healthcare Support: Administering medication (when appropriately trained), accompanying clients to appointments, and monitoring their overall health.
  • Communication: Communicating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Activity Support: Assisting clients with leisure activities, outings, and social engagements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of client progress and support provided.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $50.57 per hour
