About the Role

Heart-led Sisters is currently seeking an experienced and emotionally intelligent female support worker to join a growing team of compassionate professionals supporting two female participants with complex mental health needs and high physical support requirements. This is a specialist support role that involves sleepover shifts and rotating 24-hour care, based on the Gold Coast.

We are looking to build a small, highly skilled team around these two participants. This is not your average support role - it requires emotional resilience, teamwork, and a strong foundation in person-centred care.

Who We're Looking For

You'll be someone who:

  • Has hands-on experience supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities, trauma backgrounds, or complex behaviours of concern
  • Is confident with manual handling, personal care, hoisting, and can maintain dignity and safety during these routines
  • Brings a calm, grounded energy into the home and is able to hold space during emotionally heightened situations
  • Is reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term continuity of care
  • Is willing and able to complete sleepover shifts and potentially rotate through day, evening, and weekend hours as needed

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in:

Manual Handling

Hoisting

Mental Health / Trauma-Informed Support

Personal Care

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or similar (or significant lived/work experience)
  • Valid Australian Driver Licence + Reliable Transport
