About the role

We are seeking a Pastry Cook to join our team at Golden Bakery in Osborne Park, WA. As a Pastry Cook, your main responsibility will be operating a dough sheeter to make pastry for our large range of savoury products. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your baking expertise and contribute to the success of our thriving bakery.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating dough sheeter to produce pastry for our savoury goods
  • Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of pastry
  • Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Cook or equivalent role in a commercial bakery or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients - particularly knowledge of how to operate a dough sheeter
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
