CARPENTERS WANTED: Apprentice Carpenter | Qualified Carpenter | Subcontractor

Positions available for CARPENTERS to join a 1st Fix team building frames for new residential homes in Adelaide and surrounding areas. We have positions available for subcontractors, qualified carpenters and apprentices.

As positions are for residential construction, job sites can be located all over Adelaide and surrounds (e.g. inner suburbia, outer north or south, Adelaide Hills etc). This means jobs are located many different areas and constantly change. Although it is not essential for you to have your own vehicle and drivers licence, it will be looked upon favourably. Please indicate in your application whether you have your own vehicle and/ or drivers licence. If you don't have a vehicle or licence currently but will so in the near future (i.e. you are on the final months of your learners permit) please highlight this in your application.

A white card is necessary to work onsite so please ensure you have a current white card or please indicate your intention to obtain one soon.

Someone looking to commence an apprenticeship (or has already started their 1st year) is ideal, however all year levels are welcome to apply (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th). This is a full-time position and the successful candidate will be signed to a 4 year apprenticeship contract (or recommencement with credits for any previous year levels completed). Being an apprenticeship, it is understandable if you do not have extensive professional expertise, but a demonstration of some form of experience or background in similar type of work/ work experience and a real interest in a career in Carpentry will be looked upon favourably.
