Arnold Dallas McPherson is one of Victoria's leading and established plaintiff personal injuries Law Firms. The firm has a particular focus on WorkCover, TAC, and public liability claims.

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a Legal Assistant for our team based in our Bendigo office. The office has a team of experienced lawyers and administration staff with a great culture.

Experience in plaintiff personal injuries law is preferred but not essential and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential.

Key Duties

As a Legal Assistant the successful applicant will undertake a variety of tasks which include:

  • operate independently, self-manage and prioritise tasks effectively,
  • have excellent computer skills and have strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • prepare and draft a variety of legal/court documents – for example briefs to counsel, correspondence to clients etc,
  • dealing with inquiries from clients, other solicitors, barristers and other professionals associated with the conduct of our matters.
  • manage and assist lawyers with diary management, appointments, file/practice planning and strategy.

Full training on our Practice Management system will be provided to the successful candidate.
