About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Accountant who's ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you'll develop trusted client relationships, and play a key role in mentoring business owners as well as junior team members. Your day-to-day might include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and management reports
  • Advising clients on tax planning and minimisation strategies
  • Leading a small team of juniors and offshore staff, providing review and guidance
  • Supporting SMEs with compliance, structuring, and bookkeeping solutions
  • Embracing cloud-based tools such as Xero, XPM, Hubdoc, and more

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership skills:

At least 3 years' Australian public practice experience

  • A collaborative team player who values relationships and delivering quality outcomes
  • Solid technical understanding of SME compliance, tax rules, and planning opportunities
  • Willingness to manage a client base with confidence and professionalism
  • Proven ability to review junior staff or offshore team work
  • Completion or Progressing towards CA/CPA qualification
  • Tech savvy with cloud tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have Australian work rights
