Undergraduate Accountant

About the Role

Trekk Advisory Rockhampton is seeking an Undergraduate Accountant to join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland. This part-time role will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the accounting and business advisory field while completing your undergraduate studies.

Your day to day might include:

• Assist with client bookkeeping
• Preparation of business activity statements, financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents
• Collaborate with the broader team to ensure the efficient and accurate completion of accounting tasks
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting systems and processes
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and administrative duties as required

About You

• Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 2nd year study progress in undergraduate Accounting degree or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Familiarity (but not essential) with accounting software and technology
• Australian work rights are required for this position
