Our focus on providing a high quality experience for our children extends beyond the educational programs - we recognise that our kitchen and food quality is of utmost importance.

As an architecturally designed purpose built centre, extensive planning has ensured the ultimate cooking experience with both substantial space and commercial equipment including a Unox Steam Oven.

THE ROLE

Located at our service in McKinnon (3204)

We are looking for an enthusiastic cook or chef for our centre in an ongoing role. Experience in a large childcare environment is preferred but not essential. Menus will be provided and extensive support provided to manage ordering and various audits including working with local council.

Our Cook is an essential part of our service team and receives additional support throughout the day. There is a great level of autonomy in managing your own Kitchen and ongoing support from our Leadership team as well.

Your expertise will also be sought to assist in the development of menus.

There is flexibility in hours and start time for the right candidate.

Food Handlers Certificate is required.

We are a child safe organization and take child safety seriously - you must have a Working with Children Check and provide suitable referees throughout the recruitment process.
