Career Opportunity

A rare and exciting opportunity to lead, innovate, and grow multidisciplinary clinical services across Mental Health and Allied Health at Activated Concepts (AC) — a rapidly expanding organisation committed to quality, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Manager – Mental Health and Allied Health Services to join our Executive Leadership Team.

This pivotal role will drive the continued growth of AC's private Mental Health Service (MHS) while strategically developing new Allied Health teams (including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and related disciplines) to strengthen AC's integrated service model across the lifespan.

You will lead the design and delivery of sustainable, high-performing services encompassing therapeutic interventions, diagnostic assessments (including Autism and ADHD), and AHPRA supervision pathways for Psychologists.

This executive position requires both strong clinical governance and commercial insight to ensure service viability, scalability, and excellence across multiple funding streams (Private, Medicare, NDIS, and Aged Care).

We are open to applications from both individuals and small teams seeking to transition together into a high-trust, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and expand AC's Mental Health Service into a thriving multidisciplinary psychology and allied health offering.
  • Provide strategic and clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to a growing team of clinicians.
  • Develop service offerings in therapeutic intervention, diagnostic assessment (ADOS-2, ADHD, psychometrics), and supervision.
  • Oversee AHPRA supervision pathways and professional development for psychologists and allied health professionals.
  • Build strong referral pathways with GPs, psychiatrists, schools, and community organisations.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, NDIS, and Aged Care governance frameworks and AC's internal quality systems.
  • Collaborate with AC's Executive Team to align Mental Health, Disability, and Aged Care services for integrated care delivery.
  • Monitor service viability and sustainability, including workforce planning, KPI performance, and financial forecasting.
  • Promote a values-based culture grounded in Understanding, Respect, Wellbeing, and Excellence.

About You
  • Essential: Clinical Psychologist or Registered Psychologist (AHPRA registered).
  • Essential: AHPRA-approved supervisor with demonstrated leadership and multidisciplinary team management experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments (ADOS-2, ADHD).
  • Proven success in developing or growing psychology or allied health services.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, with a focus on sustainability and service growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary $140,000 – $160, % super (commensurate with experience and scope).
  • Flexible 9-day fortnight working model supporting wellbeing and performance.
  • Dedicated professional development and leadership opportunities.
  • Opportunity to build and shape a multidisciplinary service from the ground up.
  • Hybrid working arrangements with genuine flexibility.
  • Strong executive collaboration across Mental Health, Disability, and Aged Care portfolios.
  • A supportive, values-driven culture committed to wellbeing, excellence, and impact.
